Wedding Dinner FAQ

Wedding dinner is truly a love-hate relationship.
Apart from being happy for the couple (if you are truly, that is) you can annoyed with the conversation through the dinner.

“Hey, so when is your turn?”

Obviously this isn't a closed friend of mine, not knowing that I haven't been attached for a while.

Those who are attached starts to participate, sharing their experience of the preparation of the big day. ROM> studio> right gown> photo shoot> dinner> house etc., everyone have wonderful experience to contribute.

Moving on from the topic....

“Hey, so hows life?”

Again, people starts to share their life....

While the couple went on for the champaign pouring, photo taking (so, do they know who are those people they are taking the pix with? But thats another story altogether), sabotage from the good friends, the conversation at the table went on concurrently.

So do they have a checklist, just in case they missed out the FAQ?

Next time my wedding, I won't allow them to start on these Wedding Dinner FAQ.
You are invited 'cause the couple wants to share this blessed moments with you, so shouldn't the topic be focused on them?

Like you share how you got to know the couple, your friendship with them, the crazy things you have done with either party, or the juicy gossip for them etc.

Its a wedding dinner, for God's sake.
This isn't a gathering.
Respect lah deh!
Nabehz!
