I've just rejected a wedding invitation.
I haven't met up with the groom for the longest time, and to be honest I dun really know him well, and best of all, I dun even know the bride, never met her before.

So u reject the wedding just 2 avoid the question or 2 save the 'ang pow'? I try 2 match-making a few month back. Not sucessfull as guy want gurl don't want.
SG girls standard very high. Not to mention our 毛毛天使 even got higher standard.
I just accepted 1 wedding invitation just to discover that it's in the afternoon and I can't go.
What happen to the Chinese 10 course dinner that's usually at night?
come on~ how much can the red packet cost me?! its not so much on the $ spend or whether to avoid the question.
I juz dun like to spend my 3hrs updating people about my life while a happy couple make merry with others.
If they care as a friend, shouldn't you meet up more often or at least call each other, and not take wedding dinner as a convenient platform.
Then I think I should find sometime to meet up with you for dinner in case I lost your ang bao on my big day.

this kind no need to go one. i'm very strict this year. only 3 wedding dinners. attended all. good friends. so quota filled. no need to go already.
